-------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Tabbed by: Nic
Email: AIM- munky8461
Tuning: Drop C...could do D flat...but he plays it in C live
if you have any trouble with the rythym please instant message me and I will be
glad to help you..if you see a problem...tell me or fix it for me.
im not putting the rhythym in here so these are just the chords. It starts out just
P.M the chords but then Jerry just fools around with all his strings muted between
chords for second half of the first verse and the second verse.
Verse
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
C|-10-----8-----3-----6----8-------------------------------------------------|
G|-10-----8-----3-----6----8-------------------------------------------------|
C|-10-----8-----3-----6----8-------------------------------------------------|
Chorus
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F|---------------------------------------------17----------------------------|
C|-10----6-----3----8--------10------6---------15----------------------------|
G|-10----6-----3----8--------10------6---------15----------------------------|
C|-10----6-----3----8--------10------6---------15----------------------------|
Between Chorus and Verse (and then the bridge)
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
C|--1----8-------6-----------------------------------------------------------|
G|--1----8-------6-----------------------------------------------------------|
C|--1----8-------6-----------------------------------------------------------|
After that it goes back to the verse...then the chorus...then that
little interlude...palm mute and play the 6 to get into bridge...
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F|----------------------8----8-----------------------------------------------|
C|-10-10-8-10---6-6-6---x----x----3-3-1-3----3-3-1-3-------------------------|
G|-10-10-8-10---6-6-6---6----6----3-3-1-3----3-3-1-3-------------------------|
C|-10-10-8-10---6-6-6-------------3-3-1-3----3-3-1-3-------------------------|
The bridge repeats a few times...and then it goes back to the begining of the
first verse...same chords...palm muted all the way...Then back to the
chorus...but the chords after the last chorus are a little different.
No promises on
how
right this is.
D|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
A|---------------------------------------------------------------------------|
F|-----------17--------------------------------------------------------------|
C|-1----8----15--------------------------------------------------------------|
G|-1----8----15--------------------------------------------------------------|
C|-1----8----15--------------------------------------------------------------|
the rythyms change up a little on parts...and the end goes back to the original interlude.

| I think this song is about when someone gets so addicted to alcohol that it ruins their life. Then they finally manage to get control over their addiction but by that time the damage is already done. "I've got a bad liver and a broken heart" I think that means that the alcohol is messing up his body because alcholics usually have liver problems. And the broken heart part is because the people he loves can't even stand to be around him because he's drunk so much. btw, I love this song :D | |

| thank you mosh-courtney. this song is not about a break up with someone, although if may help you go through it cause the lyrics go good with that subject. this song is about jacoby's addiction to alcohol and how he finally came to the realization that it was ruining his life. he even said it at one of his concerts before playing this song. | |
