Don't get me wrong, i don't like this song or most of the other "teenie-bopper" crap, but musicians don't need to play an instrument. Wait, no, i take that back. Professional singers are skilled with an instrument. Their voice. So actually, paris hilton is a musician. BUt looking back at your post, i realize you said she didn't deserve respect from the musical community. And that is true. | I was never really a fan of Paris (I didn't hate her either), and when I heard she was coming out with an album, I actually laughed and said "OMG, can you believe that?" | but..but...it's not talent at all. I guess as long as teenie boppers can dance to it at their parties., it sells. Our President isn't the only thing fucked up in the U.S., our music is an embarrasement. I will respect her as a musical artist when she writes her own songs, (yes this means the MUSIC part too, not just the mushy lyrics) and plays at least one instrument. Until then, she deserves no respect from the music community. Not to mention, any voice can be made to sound good with backup vocals + a good synthesizer.
