| I agree with emipark, boy meets girl, they hit it off, but he thinks she's so perfect and that she deserve better, hence "she's outta my league". The cool thing about this scenario is that the girl doesn't know how much of an impact she is to the guy. They get kinda physically close ("feel her breath on my face, Her body close to me"), but to her it may just be platonic. This situation happens to most of us all the time... Kinda bitter sweet don't you think? "Just a fool to believe I have anything she needs She's like the wind" Kudoz to Patrick Swayze! He nails the song perfectly! | |

| I interpret it as being about a guy who has a huge crush on some other woman, which develops because she plays around with him a bit. He eventually realises that he'll never actually get her because he's not good enough and he is writing about his frustration at not being good enough and being jilted. | |

| I personally believe that this song is about a man who loves a woman but believes that he will never be good enough for her or deserve her. She keeps trying to get close to him, but he keeps pulling away because he believes it won't last. He thinks that one day she will realise that she is so much better than him and will leave. And he couldn't bear that. | |

| This is a very beautiful song. It has a sense of mystery in it as well. It's also a very secretive song, very passionate, I love it so much. I've loved it for years, it's a timeless classic. I know I will always love it. A guy I used to love once told me that this song reminded him of me - it took my breath away!! hehe. Yeah, it's such a romantic song. Good old patrick did very well in this song! I'm impressed!! Love the scene in dirty dancing - with this song playing, its beautiful. | |

| she's like the wind- the wind comes and goes, does it not? Thats what it means. It comes, hits you and then goes. So, this woman will come and go, no matter what he does or how much he loves her. ^_^ Thas my interpretation newooz!!! | |

| The song doesn't necessarily mean anything in particular to me, but I will say this -Patrick may have made his millions by being a kickass actor/dancer, but he should have sang too! -This song was awesome!!! | |

| Basically, a man loves a woman but can't seem to make her his sweetheart because he gets the impression that she thinks she's too good for him...er, something like that. Feel free to correct me if I'm wrong. I just don't get the following lines: 'Feel her breath on my face, Her body close to me' | |
