| When I saw PJ last year, Ed mentioned that in Seattle, "we didn't have a Mayor... we had a KING... and his name was Lukin." Norm Rice is probably the guy Ed was referring to, as Norm has shown up at PJ shows in the past. | |

| I remember the first time I heard this song, was when PJ toured Australia in 1995, it was March and I saw them at Memorial Drive, the song didn't have a name but it sure did appeal to me, I was 17 at the time if my adding up is right and it espressed all my anger just perfectly through the music, a bit like killing in the name by RATM a few years earlier. I bought the bootleg for that show about 3vweeks later and the song was called 100 pacer. | |

| Lukin is an enigma to me.... I think this song could have been incredible if it was at least 2-3 minutes..... but instead it burns itself out in about a minute...... This song does seem to be about an actual occurance because it is so direct and descriptive.... if this song was longer it would have been better but because it wasnt it is now only average... who knows maybe that might have been part of the experimentation of No Code was to make a song that could have been awesome but them just kill it..... that's what i love about No code is the boundary breaking and.... defying the code.... | |

Kornowski - Wanna Be |

| This sounds like it's based on an actual experience. Pearl Jam don't usually write stuff with an obvious meaning, and this sounds kind of spontaneous. | |
