| Well said Ron. Yeah great song. They seem to be repeating their pattern of putting an obvious political message and stab at Bush in a song but not as obvious as bushleaguer. | |

| I totally agree with N0 C0DE. I also don't always agree with pearl jam's political views. However, I can see where they are coming from and I also respect their opinion. This song sounds so awesome and now I am sad because I have almost 2 more months to wait for the new album which is way too long to wait. Oh well, at least I have this and all of PJ's other songs to listen to until then. | |

| i think this song is about all the talk about nuclear war i mean the first stanza is about the president of the U.S. declaring nuclear war and the line "The war is taking over?" theyre talking about nuclear war and there are a lot of suicide bombers and hi-jackers all across the world hense the title and chorus "World Wide Suicide" and "writing checks that other pay" is refering to the fact that we will be paying for all the nukes to be aimed and launched and new ones being built (as if we havent got pleanty) yeah there are more examples i just dont feel like putting them all in | |

| Good song, but I didn't like the rhythm-drums, i mean. Probably it'll be the first PJ song containing the word "suicide" in lyrics and not connected with cobain's suicide. ;D | |

| ok.... I definitely didn't finish the first half of my comment, because I am an idiot, but the song is basically bashing bush for forsaking soldiers lives and using them as pawns in a game motivated by power and greed in which he has recklessly intimated himself into,... And like I said, I don't really ever agree with PJ's politics, but that don't matter, because this is a killer song... | |

| OK, now I feel retarded, Kurt Cobain always said to never over-analyze the meaning of a song because you'll find that there will always be something you miss.... I completely rejected the nuclear bomb theory and by over-analyzing the song, forgot to notice the whole "Worldwide Suicide" line,.... Duh, The policy of mutually assured destruction basically means what ever country fires a nuke can basically kiss it's own ass good bye,... because the one it's firing at will retaliate... So it's a Worldwide Suicide.... duh, sorry about takin your Idea for granted PJamfan90... I kinda feel like durrr? now... lol | |
