So much to talk about
Yet nothing for us to say

Main riff
It's the same every day
And the weight won't break
How're you to pray
While the devil's on his shoulder?
Laying claims to the tainted soldier
Said not gonna quit and
The truth's already out there

The whole world!
World over!
Yeah it's world wide suicide!! x2

Do the backing vocals bug anyone else too? Cracking song then definitely a grower.

It's a stab at the present administration for making people who aren't well off (soldiers)... Granted, I pretty much don't ever agree with Pearl Jam's politcal views, but I respect their opinion, and know when they write an asskicking song... and this it is,,, and asskicking song...

it depends on what your in the mood for, i think thumbing my way was one of the bast songs lyrically that eddie has ever written, save you, LBC, i am mine, you are, i think are all just as good as this one this song definitely sounds more from yield than riot act though, i just thnk riot act is very underrated and i defend it when i can

Aside from his position, i don't really like the lyrics to the song, but how about the actual musicianship on the song? It rocks more than most songs on Riot Act i think, definetly reminds me of Yield.

Wow 5 days since this song was added and Look at all the comments it's racked up?! I've been getting alot of this lately: "hey you like Pearl Jam right? who are they?" And I'm just like:"yeah dipshit, I liked Pearl Jam before it was cool, the second time...." Anyways, onto the Riot Act topic, RA rules.... thumbing my way is with out a doubt EDDIE'S best song,... and in my humble opinion RA was a pretty strong album, but this one should sell more copies just from all the buzz surrounding it... Anyone else seeing the "album cover coming off?" and revealing whats underneath the paperbag?

I couldn't be a bigger Pearl Jam fan, but I'm really not feeling this song. Hopefully it will grow on me and the album will be as amazing as I hope it will be.
