| Haha. That's how I heard it too. It's one of my favorites on the 2004 Warped Tour Compilation. I'm going to WT in SLC this summer. Pretty stoked to see Pennywise there, just from this one song I've heard. I've got to say that the meaning of these lyrics seems pretty straightforward. He's talking about trying to escape from the monotony of his life and circumstance. In a very self-deprecating way, he criticizes himself for not having changed things sooner. He might be trying to escape from a bad job, relationship, or just overall situation. Really like the line in the first verse, " Another casualty of humanity awash in my own stupidity ". | |
