| At first I thought no way but then I listened to it again and it almost made sense. But would Pete Francis make a song about lying in bed with a corpse? I don't know. Maybe their love is dead and that's why he says that "She left only her body for me" in the way that she's still there physically but emotionally she doesn't care anymore. Like all Dispatch songs the lyrics are so darn ambigous it's hard to find out what they were actually thinking when they wrote it. | |

| I love this song, its my favorite dispatch/francis song. The question is...is the girl laying in his bed dead? My girlfriend is convinced she is, I'm not sure. | |

| I think its kind of a parting song. Sort of like, let me hold you now because very soon I wont be able to anymore. And she does it for whatever reason. Pete rocks in concert. I saw him on Thursday in NYC. He's a nice guy too. | |

| She's left only her body for me, I lie here feeling her hair, waiting for sleep, I always took that as she fell asleep first... I never thought she was dead... | |
