Tuning: standard (ebgdae)
Well, the other one is pretty shocking, uses a capo when its really not necessary
unless you are a real newbie, so yeah here's my version. enjoi
key: ( ) = optional note

a D An E F# min Asus2
a capo on second fret may be neccessary for this guitar part, but i dont think most of
you nedd it. the d is just an open c chord shape up 2 frets, and the d is up another 2.
repeat verse, this time a clean guitar sometimes strums an F#minor (3rd chorus chord).
like in the "all your friends" bit it does on "friends"
chorus again
then Bridge: ("if you ever decide to call..."
Guitar 1 (overdrive) strumming
e|--------------------------------------------|
B|--------------------------------------------|
G|-9---7----9----7---9---7---9----7-----------|
D|-9---7----9----7---9---7---9----7-----------|
A|-7---5----7----5---7---5---7----5-----------|
E|--------------------------------------------|
Guitar 2 (clean strumming)

B|-5---3----5----3---5---3----5---3---------|
G|-4---2----4----2---4---2----4---2---------|
D|-6---4----6----4---6---4----6---4---------|
A|-7---5----7----5---7---5----7---5---------|

intro/verse riff with second play playing F#minor over it

| The word addiction and the song title 'lines' does definitely imply that it's about a drug addicted friend or ex of Pete's, and he is waiting for them to say that they need his help. | |
