Here is Fluffhead. This does not include Fluff's Travels, but if anyone
could figure it out, hey that would be great, please post it!
The following is the Intro theme and played between verses. It is
based on a C chord played open, then slid up to the 3rd fret, then up to
the 8th fret and then down to the 6th fret. In the 8th and 6th fret,
your pinky should be placed on the 10th and 8th fret respectively. It's
pretty easy.
C D G F C D G
----------------------------------10---------8------------------------3--3--|
---------------------------------8--8-------6-6-----------------------3--3--|
------------------0------------0-----0-----0---0--------------0-------4--4--|
---2-3/2--------4---5/4-------9-------9---7-----7----2-3/2---4--5/4---5--5--|
-3-------3-----5--------5---10-----------8----------3-----3-5------5--5--5--|
----------------------------------------------------------------------------|
(the / means pull-off)
The verse is essentially a G and an F (with G) played like this:
-3-------3---|
-3-------1---|
-4-------2---|
-5-------3---|
-------------|
-------------|
(repeated 6 times)
Where each chord is played for half a measure each. Note that you can also
play the F like:
-1-
-1-
-0-
-3-
---
---
I'm not sure that the F is an F(with G) or just a plain F. If you can
determine which version it is, let me know!!
The pattern of the song is
Intro (twice) - Verse 1 - Intro - Verse 2 - Intro - Verse 3 - Intro*
The last intro ends on an A chord and then into Fluff's Travels.
At the end of Fluff's Travels, the band comes in real powerful with the following
(this is where they sing "fluffhead, fluffy fluffy head...)
(End of Fluff's Travels)
G C Am D
|| |''| || |''|'| (strum pattern)

| it sounds like the song is about a man who does a LOT of acid. white fluff is pure crystal LSD. ''Fluffhead was a man with a horrible disease Could not find no cure, won't you help him if you please? Fluff came to my door askin' me for change His eyes were clear and pure but his mind was so deranged'' Sounds like a guy whos done a lot of lucy | |

| Just read baout this in the PHiSH book last night. Tom (wrote most of the songs) had a brother who was dying of cancer. Him and Trey were at a Dead show and saw a guy there who was on chemo. Most of his hair has fallen out, except for a few fluffs of hair around the back. Tom wrote the song about that, but looking back, said it was really about his brother... | |

| Actually the song was written by Steve Pollak, A.K.A the Dude of Life, but yes it was inspired by a man with cancer at a dead show, and his brother did have cancer at the time. | |
