C Dm
Baby when I saw you turning at the end of the street
Em Dm
I knew a time was gone and it took me like
Am
ages
Dm
Just to understand that I was afraid to be a simple guy
Em Dm C
I tried my best to smile but deep inside my heart Em
I felt it was shouting like a crowd dancing
Dm
I guess I couldn't live without the things
Am
that made my life what it is
G Am G F
Can't you hear me calling ooh yeah
Am G F
Everybody's shaking ooh yeah
Am
Tonight everything is over
G
I feel too young
C Dm
I can't lie on my bed without thinking I was wrong
Em Dm
But when this feeling calls this world
Am
becomes another
Dm
Nighttime won't hold me in your arms again
Em Dm C
I got a very good friend who says he can't
believe the love I give
Em
Is not enough to end your fears
Dm
I guess I couldn't live without the things
Am
that made my life what it is
G Am G F
Can't you hear me calling oh yeah
Am G F
Everybody's dancing oh yeah
Am
Tonight everything is over
G
I feel too young
(Chord Solo - C, Dm, Em, Dm)
Am
Oh rainfalls and hard times coming they won't
Dm
leave me tonight
Em Dm
I wish I knew what I was doing
C
Just do let this spirit survive
Em
Can't you hear me calling oh yeah
Dm
I guess I couldn't live without the things
Am
that made my life what it is
G Am G F
Can't you hear me calling oh yeah
Am G F
Everybody's dancing oh yeah
Am
Tonight everything is over
G
I feel too young

| This is what I gather. The night did not proceed as he wanted it to, he wanted one thing and she wanted another. Their moods simply did not match. She was leaving and he was calling to her that everybody is dancing. He thinks to himself that he is too young. This will be the last night that they go out together, his friend says the love he gives is insufficient in addition to his emotion. But he says "I guess I couldn't live without the things that made my life what it is." The relationship is not for him. | |

| I love this song. It represents a relationship I have with this guy and it could as well be a duet in my opinion. The lyrics aren't that bad either. Sure, I've seen better but I've seen worse too. This song has so much feeling. | |

| Awesome French band. I believe this was a big hit over seas, in the summer of 2000. It also appeared in the movie "Shallow Hal". Unfortunately it did not make it to the soundtrack. Great song to dance to. | |
