This is a great song from a great band. Once you look past the amazing music and tune, i believe the chorus menas that "fireproof" is hes not goin to hell and will live in heaven by Gods grace. Great song with a good message

I like the message that bands like POD are sending...but their music sucks. Lol, just a thought. Pillar is awesome.

this song is magical. its what first drew me to pillar. they are all incredible people and i love them all! (liamfin, it's not that he's worried about someone 'taking him in the fire' its more like he's asserting that no matter what someone may do to him physically, they can't touch his spirit because its in the hands of God)

I think it's about Daniel 3, where four people refuse to praise a gold sculpture the king built and are thrown into fire without getting burnt. Maybe it said so in the link above, but it is not working atm...

This song is definably about Daniel 3 and that we are invincible (Fireproof) through our hope in God. Our bodies are extremely fragile but our spirits will soar with God. Rock songs are not ruined because they talk of God, they are made better because quite honestly, God gives us purpose so everything not from him is without purpose and meaningless.

The thought that this song is ruined merely by the fact that is religion related is utterly rediculous. I don't believe in god, but I believe in people, so if this track was created from someone with a comforted state of mind and a warm heart, regardless of what that comfort and warmth has spawned from, it's still beautiful and strong. and the thought that the internet of all places should a place that discourages freedom of speech (ie using swear words for any band) is a silly approach aswell, because if people can't express their opinions through means they wish to express them then what's the point of freedom of speech? As for the song: I love it when the lines "it's my time to rise" are said. And the thing I like the most about this song would have to be the start of the bridge, where the vocalist says "You'll never take me in the fire" But I was just thinking, if this song is supposedly about him being fire-proof and un-able to be 'burned' in 'hell', then why would he be worried about someone "taking him into the fire". When I'm thinking that the path to hell is a path designated by your own actions. I mean, the people that go to hell through the eyes of christianity are the people that make bad choices. Point being: why would he be saying "you'll never take me into the fire" When the only person that can take him to hell is himself. I just had that thought as I was writing some of that down, but yeah, I'll stop before I get into some sort of unstoppable rant. peace out.

Pillar rocks, simple as that. Went to one of their concerts and was blown away! They were so loud! They were hilarios looking, also. Noah's hair was so long and 'dreadish'!

As far as I'm concerned, this song is just a sweet pump up song. I don't detect a hint of God or any of those other wacky things people keep somehow pulling out of the asses of songs. ( BTW the guitar isn't that great. I mean, it's bitch rock. What do you expect?)

I think this song means that no matter what happens, no matter what kind of pressure you go through, if you know the Lord and trust in him that you are fireproof and that nothing can bring you down...
