[the other stanzas are the same with the following lyrics. Add
variations to my dull, fingerpicking arrangement: please!]
Every night I turn the light out
Waiting for the velvet bride
Will the scaly armadillo
Find me where I'm hiding?
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams
interlude: (I think: these, I am sure are the chords, although they
might be in a different order. I do not think I still have
a copy of the song so I cannot check)
G D F A7
G A7 D D
Will the misty master break me?
Will the key unlock my mind?
Will the following footsteps catch me?
Am I really dying?
Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams

| This is a stunningly beautiful song, which earns it about three stars out of five. It has a twist about dying at the end, which earns it an extra star out of five. That gives the song 4/5 stars. I am dying to find that fifth star, because I love the song. The entire relics album contains some great work, but this is near the top. | |

| No the lyrics are right. This song is so beautiful. Even though the guitar is pretty easy it still sounds good. | |

| Demau doesn't take the time to decipher the lyrics, which is why they are so bad. He steals them from a heavily botched site (I posted what it was on the Burning Bridges page). | |

| agree with ASDmlc..dreamy. Does anyone know about the strange short echo of the words as the song is sung along. its like washing the words down..lends it a different melody altogether. u can actually feel the words sound like water drops.. | |

| i'm also not so sure about the lyrics... in some lyrics i found on the net it's: "Will she let the weeping willow Wind his branches round" also, in some lyrics it's: "Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams" don't know what's correct then... | |

| Great song. Apparently the 1st PF song with David Gilmour on lead vocals. Lyrics are inaccurate though. Sunlight bright upon my pillow, Lighter than an eiderdown. Will she let the weeping willow Wind his branches 'round? Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams Every night I turn the light out, Waiting for the velvet bride. Will the scaly armadillo Find me where I'm hiding? Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams Will the misty master break me? Will the key unlock my mind? Will the following footsteps catch me? Am I really dying? Julia dream, dreamboat queen, queen of all my dreams (x 4) | |
