| Lucy in the sky is an undeniable reference to LSD, so don't say it's not about drugs. I think this song is suggesting that there is something otherworldly about LSD, and that it is meant to help the human race advance. (Definitely believable if you've ever taken it.) Terence McKenna (an author) thought that psychedelics were meant to tune the brain in with cosmic communication channels between different alien races. | |
