a friend of mine and i replayed the riff over and over with placebo's 'taste in men'; discovering only very slight differences, quite amazing... we also discovered the sun was out and a day of doing something constructive was possible...

Someone please explain to me why Demau Senae hasn't been banned from submitting lyrics yet. This kid has the worst hearing of anyone I've ever known, and yet he's submitted thousands of completely wrong lyrics to the site.

Lucy in the sky is an undeniable reference to LSD, so don't say it's not about drugs. I think this song is suggesting that there is something otherworldly about LSD, and that it is meant to help the human race advance. (Definitely believable if you've ever taken it.) Terence McKenna (an author) thought that psychedelics were meant to tune the brain in with cosmic communication channels between different alien races.

it's the best song on a decent album...the intro is awesome, it's just those whispered verses that suck, those pickups are sweet

The repeating line is the exact same tune from the "Intersteller Overdrive". Doot doot, doo doo doo... doot doot, doo doo doo...

Coolest (but not best) song on Saucerful. If only it had a kazoo solo... And much as I really, truly despise having to say this about a Pink Floyd song, it's about drugs. I think.

This song sounds so magical. Sigh.
