First half is piano/keyboard instrumental

You will notice that the chord progression is exactly the same as
"Burning Bridges" but with the time signature changed from 3/4 to 4/4

(Some of the timing may be a bit off on the guitar parts, especially
the slide bits in the middle, but it's enough to get started with)

With the few pictures of the movie La Vallee I've seen, one was of some aborigins coverd with mud, so I guess (this is pure speculation, since I haven't seen the movie) that's what the song is about... or, I'd rather say, I wouldn't be surprise if this piece of music was used for a (the?) seen where they covered themselves with mud. And oh! Yes, Gilmour is great on this one but, listen carefuly for the organs... this is where the magical greatness of the music come from here, especialy in the great guitar gig.

mudmen is an instrumental on obc........its kinda cool........features some great guitar work by mr gilmour.......but that can be said about a great many floyd songs.......the song is kinda light and breezy in parts........reminds me of a pillow of winds i had to make this comment because i feel that every song by the floyd deserves comments.....yes even seamus!

Seamus is amazing. It holds a special section of my heart. And this is a reprise of Burning Bridges, but not nearly as good. I would call it good. Not great, but definitely solid.
