| The problem with the Momentary Lapse album are the "one..." choruses. For example: Dogs of War: "one world..." Sorrow: "one world, one soul..." There are others as well, but I am too lazy to look them up. The absence of those kinds of chorus crap are what make me like Pink Floyd in the first place, so I am quite disappointed that they have come back on this album. It's not bad, but it's not anything compared to the earlier stuff. | |

| I am quite concerned that you were telling us what to do on this very site. Like I said, Echoes is just a song... but not like other songs like Sorrow, High Hopes and Welcome To The Machine (Which I think are great). I understand that you were into Echoes at the time you put that comment down. Of course, I read your review to Meddle on Amazon.com (If it WAS your review, that is) which included "This song is by far the best song I have ever heard" and I do understand you are sharing your opinions with us that you love that song a lot, next to Shine On You Crazy Diamond (All parts, of course). You know, I do like you. But I didn't like the fact that you were telling us not to compare any song (except SOYCD) to Echoes and you were into that song at the time. Those three songs I put up there are definitely not as long as those two tracks. (7:30), (8:31) and (8:46). Echoes is exactly 23:31 long. The Atom Heart Mother Suite takes longer than Echoes (23:45) and we both think it's very good. I'm almost did like the fact that you were telling us not to compare any song to Echoes... (Sorry, I don't think you're understanding what I'm saying here. I don't, either) I hope I have convinced you. | |
