I simply tabed this because no one else would
=============================================
Ok here we go, I'll looked around the net for a tab to Floyd's Take it Back,
but there was none. I did this out of sheer boredom, so don't expect to much.
Throughout most of the song you'll need extream echo, as to Floyd likes to be
all ambient that way. The cutisy riffs right after the first cluster of
lyrics were kindov tough, so feel free to make any changes you deam nessisary.

Email me at RYAK@MSN.com for comments, questions, opinions, other junk.
I WILL REPLY! Have fun with this one, don't be afraid to correct me.

P.S. I've added some side instructions along the way to make things go
smooth. I highly recommend listening to the song before trying to play it.

Question: why is the word "God" censored? Does this Demau Senae character think that the Creator of everything is a bad word or something? Should we also censor All*h, Vish*u, Ze*s, etc?

Like mother nature and how we fuck her up but she still keeps us alive. "i push her to the limit to see if she will break" which is exactly what we do.

some nonsense lyrics, not the best of the pink floyd as well, but still the song of my life... the rythm is perfec and i guess anyone can see the road along the way, the feel of the breeze close to the sea, the incredible feeling of freedom. along with u2´s "when the streets have no name", this is the best song i´ve ever heard!

This like so many Floyd songs has more than one meaning. The most obvious two that I can think of are 1) Two people fall in love and soon one starts being jealous. He knows it can ruin their relationship but can't seem to help it. 2) An environment song - 'she' is the Earth, that we're ruining and draining up to the point where it just breaks 'push her to the limit to see if she would break'. Anyway I'm sure there are more possible meanings, these are just apparent to me.

If you seen the video, its pretty obvious that its about our abuse of mother earth. Great song! This is a topic that deserves all the attention it can get. Better late than never??

i think this song is about a guy who likes the girl but isn't sure whether he wants to be with her or not..and he knows that he's a bad person..he keeps her on thin ice..she likes him and gives him her heart and then he brakes her heart over and over again..and he knows that what he is doing is wrong, and that she will take it back someday-that means-she will be happy someday and he won't, she will get back the love she gave away. in the first part of the song he says-she might take it back, but as the song goes on he realizes more and more his guilt and what he's done so he says-she WILL take it back...this is such an amazing song...i love it

Hmm, adam_s you've got me wondering about this song now. I always assumed it was about the environment but there are a few lines that makes me wonder.

it definitly fits as a love song but also as a song about the environment and the punishment we put on it. As soon as I heard this song I couldn't stop listening to it, it completely grabbed my attention and still to this day has not let me go. Pure genius!!!

If you listen to the words it is obvious that it is about mother nature and the eventual demise of the human race by our own ignorance. We think that we are somehow more powerful than the earth and that we ultimately determine it's destiny. When in reality she can take it back at any time and we will be the only cost.

The song is about nature and how we fuck it up. its a good song, but definitely not the best of pink floyd...Roger was a genius and when he left the lyrical value of songs suffered greatly
