| In regards to what Pink Floyd Addict said, I always took it as though Pink left for a show in America, not that his wife moved to the US. Besides that though, I think that him "beating his wife to a pulp" isnt meant as physical abuse but more emotional abuse, since Pinks "wall" kept him from ever having meaningful relationships with anyone. |

| At the end of goodbye blue sky, allfloyd.com's lyrics read: "'The 11:15 from Newcastle is now approaching' "The 11:18 arrival....'" Wich means the girlsfriend moved to the US. Then in Young Lust, Pink tries to call her, but a man answers (her new boyfriend) and hangs up. [Phone rings..Clink of receiver being lifted] "Hello..?" "Yes, a collect call for Mrs. Floyd from Mr. Floyd. Will you accept the charges from United States?" [clunk! of phone being put down] "Oh, He hung up! That's your residence, right? I wonder why he hung up? Is there supposed to be someone else there besides your wife there to answer?" [Phone rings again...clunk of receiver being picked up] "Hello?" "This is United States calling, are we reaching... [interrupted by phone being put down] "See he keeps hanging up, and it's a man answering." [whirr of connection being closed] |
