Placebo - Bigmouth Strikes Again
-----------------------------------------------------------------------------
TUNING: STANDARD TUNING
* cAPO ON 4TH *
This is a great cover of an already good Smiths song. Tuning is normal, but
the version I tabbed here has a Capo on 4th fret. Some other Placebo songs
are played like that and without the Capo there would be some pretty nasty
Barre chords so I guess that Placebo themselves use a capo. Anyways enjoy!
:: CHORDS
NOTE - 0 means open string, so technically its 4th fret, but that just confusing.

:: Lyrics
Sweetness
sweetness I was only joking when I said
I'd like to smash every tooth in your head.
Oh sweetness
sweetness I was only joking when I said
by rights you should be bludgeoned in your bed.
And now I know how joan of arc felt
now I know how joan of arc felt
as the flames rose to her roman nose
and her discman started to melt
Bigmouth la da dum da da
bigmouth blabbing it all, bigmouth strikes again
and I've got no right to take my place
in the human race
Oh
bigmouth la da dum da da
bigmouth blabbing it all
bigmouth strikes again
and I've got no right to take my place
in the human race
And now I know how joan of arc felt
now I know how joan of arc felt
as the flames rose to her roman nose
and her megadrive started to melt
Bigmouth la da dum da da
bigmouth blabbing it all
bigmouth strikes again
and I've got no right to take my place
in the human race
Oh
bigmouth la da dum da da
bigmouth blabbing it all bigmouth strikes again
and I've got no right to take my place
in the human race.

| hey, Placebo have good taste covering a song from one of the best bands of all times - the SMITHS! I like it - they're doing a good job - I like the little ipod - megadrive adjustements - funny. | |

| Placebo have an awesome taste in covers - this one's got the right amount of silly violent threats by someone who's clearly got a self-image problem followed by a grovelling apology which only makes things worse in its crassness. Sly song just suited to Brian's sneery voice. | |

| This is an awesome song but like people say, I prefer The Smiths' version. Especially the live one, Morrissey's voice was rockin on that track. | |
