Song: The Crawl

Group: Placebo

Album: Without you I'm nothing

Tabbed By: Philip.self@cwcom.net

This is a great song off their latest album. When they did it at =
Glastonbury in

98 they used just drums guitar and vocals, whether there's a bass on the =
CD I'm not

sure. But here is the guitar part. It's not very god but you can mess =
around with

it to figure out the rhythm etc. It should be some help tho!

BTW - Its in placebo tuning but has the low F string tuned down to an E =
- Basically Dropped D tuning all taken up a tone!

Again I'm using a scribbled on bit of paper as my guide so it won't be =
that accurate!

I like this song a lot. I learned to play this on my guitar and I already knew the words... coincidencely (I think that may be a word) my friend had passed away soon after. I never played the same song as many times I did this one in my life. This song is very pretty.

This is the ultimate breakup song... The lines "don't go and lose your face at some strangers place" relates to the tendency to fall into a rebound-type situation or to just go and have a one night stand after a difficult breakup.

Spooky song!!!!! emotional and deep lyrics!!!! It takes the pain away that could not make you stay (he/she can't stay and that reduses the pain) it's way to broke to fix no glue, no bag of tricks (the relationship is too broken! so damadged that no cheap trick can fix it) Lay me down, the lie will unfurl lay me down to crawl. Your smile would make me sneeze when we were Siamese (they so close that they were feeling that they are stuck on each other! the sun makes us sneeze so his/her smile was so bright like the sun) Amazing grace in here I'd pay to have you near. (he/she loves him/her so much that he'd give anything t be wuith him/her) Lay me down, the lie will unfurl lay me down to crawl. (put me down so that i can start beg again) Don't go and lose your face at some stranger's place (he/she begs his/her lover not to become somebody else with another mate! it says lose your face because our face and espacially our eyes are the mirror of our soul) and don't forget to breathe and pay before you leave=???
