You come on just like special K
Now you're back with dope demand
I'm on sinking sand
Gravity
No escaping gravity
Gravity
No escaping... not for free
I fall down... hit the ground
Make a heavy sound
Every time you seem to come around
No escaping gravity

| brian molko said that he uses the high/rush/experience of a drug (special k) as a metaphor for love. basically, he's saying that falling in love is like a drug. the "achilles heel" line, which is my fave, says that love is his weakness (as would be any addictive drug). "no escaping gravity" is "falling" in love, "an the savior be for real/or are you just my seventh seal?" asks whether his love/drug will be the beginning or ending of him. powerful song, catchy tune. gets in my head all day. | |

| I am in love with this song... It's one of my fave placebo songs. I love it when his Brain Molko's voice goes up when he says "special k". I saw them live 2 weeks ago! They were better than I EVER could have expected. Brian is sooo beautiful. This band make music to breathe to. | |

| I think that this is a love song. It's about someone who has been so hurt in the past that they are unsure of whether or not they are willing to get involved in another relationship. This person is so special to them that they get a rush everytime they see them and they are scared of that person hurting them. Hence the lines: "You come on just like special K....Can this savior be for real or are you just my seventh seal?" | |

| I love this long extended metaphor, well, it could be about both love and an addiction. Love being the "behind the scenes" thing and the drug being like "the are the words of the song" thing. Special K, yes, you sometimes do get a near death experience..... | |
