This song does kick ass. It says "fuck you!" Crank your stereo up REAL LOUD and that part that sounds like a little reak of silence, you'll actually hear him scream "FUCK YOU!" I think the reason he does this is because it's what he really wants to say but he's not too proud of it, cuz there still are alot of feelings there. So he says it but puts it low to show that. Makes sense to me.

The feeling to just get over someone is great... you realize you don't need them to live.

this is such a different song for poison the well. im sick of everyone saying they sold out or are trying to be pop punk or any of that moronic non-sense. but this song is so perfect. the first time i heard jeff morena sing it i just had to learn the lyrics and sing along. i wish they would do it live sometime that would rule.

i absolutely adore this song and poison the well... but there's a mistake in the lyrics here - the song actually says "creatures cold but here for me" not grey chairs.

This song is very fucken awesome.. I can just sit here and listen and listen til the end of time!!! PTW is one of the best hardcore bands I've heard in awhile!! Hmmm..thats odd cause I swear it says, "all i wanted to say was...melt away" too. I dont know if its right, but it sure as hell sounds right!

Something slices into him, but is it the presence of someone else, or his own unfamiliar presence of mind that is continually haunting him? Observe, "All I wanted to say was fuck you miles away but you still seem to be here" Here? In a specified geographical location, or is it more than that? Spiritual hauntedness, physical and continual haunting presence, like some dark spectre over foreign shores? Nobody's to know but he's sure broken and trying to fix himself up good. All power to him.

"i couldve sworn it says *all i wanted to say was...melt away" pretty sure you're right. though if you listen carefully, you can hear someone scream, "fuck you!" in the background.

everyone knows about the "fuck you" part by now... but some say it's because he is ashamed of what he wants to say. i think it's more about what jeff really wants to say but can't find the right words. this song definately shows the diversity of the band and shows what they are fully capable"of doing. pulling out an accoustic song in the middle of a hardcore album and then putting a song like sticks and stones directly after it takes talent and adversity. ptw is quite a band.
