| Besides the fact that PTW is one of THE best bands I have heard in a REALLY long time, I think this song has so many different meanings. I think one of them (more obvious) is the whole suicide ordeal. "When you read this/ I will not be the same" Im not no psychologist but this whole song sounds like a suicide letter, from the sun going out (blackness=death) to the disowning which is associated with leaving aka death. Thats just MY take on the song. a FUCKING bad ass song none the less. | |

| Yes this song does kick some serious ass......... i wasnt paying attention too much the first time i listened to this cd but when the "I remember the day the sun went out It halted all progression with all its beauty it just sacrificed we fell aart played i really started listening and man.......cd just rocked......... i wanna get tear from the red now sooo bad hehe | |

| Poison the Well is my favorite band ever, not since Glassjaw have a heard I song like this...when they play it live you can feel all the emotion. What it means to me is that this guy was in love. This girl leaves him and he feels like it was his fault so he then leads to the choice of this: suicide... But man I think lots of peolple have been there, hell I have... It really shows that guys have emotions too. | |
