| I'm going with the second opinion. During the TTSR phase, Powerman 5000 had a lot of metaphors to their lyrics and used sci-fi imagery. "please just kill me now or get me off this rock cause i can't stand to see your faces and i can't stand to hear you talk" I can relate to that. He wants to get away from everyone and doesn't quite care how. | |

| Being powerman, and Especially being powerman i ntheir spaceman phase I'm almost certain it's the first, but when I consider it further, maybe it's a bit of both, since he does make it clear he wants away from these people. Really though, sometimes hard to get a meaning out of a song written by Spider, since words are sometimes just in there to fit the rhythm and sound cool :P | |
