Kelmore you must be blind, the meaning of the song is in the last lines.. " It's been declared That it's not wise To prize something too much I just wish to find something to flaunt the right to Touch so gently"

"People that are overly serious I tend to find aren't very happy, or at least not very fun to be around," you guys are too serious. it's about a fucking ice cube. there's no "serious" or "really meaningful" meaning behind it. i mean seriously, it's primus.

I think that Les was sitting around one day and he saw an ice cube melting and another quirky song was born. I love the ominous sound effects. I don't know why I like them so, maybe just because it's something completely outside the realm of shit music. Whatever the meaning, this is an awesome song.

I just recently saw the DVD "Blame It On the Fish" and in there Les is interviewed about this song. He mentions that it was about a man who loved an ice cube, but that he had a friend of his who had been going through some marital problems, who told Les that this song meant alot to him, as it seemed to tie into his situation saying that his wife once loved him, but had started to turn cold and melt away from him. The point of lyrics is that they are suppose to be designed to be interpreted by different people...if you wanna believe the song means nothing, then do so, just don't belittle those who think more then that.
