What is the song all about? ”Keith’s personality. The song is Keith’s personality. That’s it. Plain and simple. A lot of people can relate to different lyrics in that song but I know when he was writing that song, he was talking about himself. Like the lyric mind detonator. Speaking about Keith. He’ll think about something until it just does his head in so much that it’ll be a big problem. Keith thinks a lot; he thinks too much, you know. He used to smoke too much weed. He’s calmed down now. Mind detonator is a lyric that just describes Keith really well.” – Liam.

Liam may say that and most other people may call it complete arsen, but I think it's actually from a political standpoint: It's an anthem against the righteousness and hypocrisy of the United States of America (Ever heard of "Their Law"? Similar to that, Liam definitely designed it from that) Anyway, you notice how the US government jumps into anything they can and tries to make acts of justice to boost their moral status? Then other countries come in, fight back and forth. Hence, "I'm the firestarter, twisted firestarter. You're the firestarter, twisted firestarter." See? This is where The Prodigy wanted to put their beliefs on the US, because they very well knew most people don't give a shit about the meanings of their songs, so only educated or die hard fans of the band would be able to figure it out. If you watch the video and pay attention to the way Flint is dancing, you should figure out the picture that he is portraying. He is portraying the endless wars waged between humankind and my, how endless it is. For anyone who wonders what kind of song this is: This is the song for you to shove in the government's faces on all honest levels of angst. Rock. The Prodigy are my Electro-Punk Gods.
