Artist: Project 86
Song: A Fruitless End Ever
Album: Songs To Burn Your Bridges By
Copyright: Tooth & Nail Records, Team Black Recordings (2004)
I've done 2 tabs, one for Oblivion and one for Your Heroes are Dead. I was 95% sure on those,
but I'm not so sure with this
one, but it should help you get an idea of what the song is like.
1. Intro riff...the main riff...the pre-chorus and post-chorus riff. It's played
alot. It's simple. It's played 2 times, then
there is a open palm mute/harmonic, then it's played as Andrew comes in with the vocals.

G)----------------------
D)--0--2--3--5--8--7--0-
A)--0--2--3--5--8--7--0-
D)--0--2--3--5--8--7--0-
2. The Verse. I'm pretty sure the notes are right, but the guitar sounds different after
the octaves. If anyone has any clue
on the effect that is used to get the sound, feel free to let me know.

D)--0-0-0-0---------3-3-3-3-----------0-0-0-0---------3-3-3-3-----------
4a. The Bridge thing. Another piece in question. Parenthesis = Palm Mute. In old school
Randy fashion, he slowly lets off on
the palm mute as it progresses.

4b. The hammer on is played several times...too many to tab.

D)-------------------------------------------------------------
5. There is a little piece that is played before the last chorus. The main riff is played
like 3 times, only on the low D
string, and then this is played:
e)----------------------------------
B)----------------------------------
G)----------------------------------
D)--3-3-3-3-3-3-5-5-----------------
A)--3-3-3-3-1-1-3-3-----------------
D)--3-3-3-3-------------------------
I think that's it.

| I think this song is about destructive relationships that bring both parties down ("Together we can find new ways to drown"). Sometimes people get into relationships with people because it makes their own lives feel less depressing ("Your sadness is my reason to forget what lies inside"). It's a tough balance between wanting to help people and getting tied up in their problems. Soon you don't have any time or strength to live your own life. | |

| Personally i think Schwab links all his songs, if you knew that already good for you. "Let go the Anchor, let go the dead weight" Sin is our dead weight, moreso temptation... if you place yourself in a position to be tempted ur just looking for a new way to drown. Doin Reasrch... You REALLY NEED TO STOP TALKING WHILE YOUR BEHIND. Haven't you ever heard of a LITERARY DEVICE?!??! Here's what you do, go buy or borrow a copy of Andrew Schwab (sorry, you prolly don't kno who he is... the lead singer of Project 86. Id assume you to kno that thou) and buy a copy of his book entitled "It's all Down hill from here: On the Road wiht Project 86." Then pay attention in Lit class and stop takeing everything literally. | |
