Artist: Project 86
Title: Stalemate
Copyright 1998 We Own Your Songs Publishing, Inc [SESAC]
Album: Project 86
Tabbed By: William (axeman@iolvegas.com)
Drop D Tuning
This is my first tab, so I'm open to criticism or comments.
This is a fairly simple song, and the only one not tabbed off
this album, so I gave it my best shot. I have no idea what
that first part is; if you do, let me know.
The verses have heavy tremolo.
Verse A
Part 1 Part 2
---------------|------------------------------
---------------|------------------------------
-7-7-7-7----7--|------7--------7--------------

-5-5-5-5----5--|------5--------5--------------

On the second part of that verse, strum the D chord slowly up by the
bridge, to get that bright sound. Mess around with the D power chords
through the verses; pick different individual strings, and use variations
to get their exact sound.

| Definitely my favorite Project 86 song. It's basically about the struggle against evil. How sin can put you in a stalemate but finding Jesus, "the one who has adopted my ailment my sickness...", has made him recognize his sinfullness | |

| It's either struggling with porn, or with alcohol, and knowing and finding God as the rescuer | |
