estocopath got it almost exactly right in my opinion. Project 86 doesn't like being called a "christian" band. They sort of try to separate them selves from "the church", but I do believe that God still does have favor on the church. I think you can't generalize something as broad as the church in general. There are so many different churches with different emphasists. Some are good and some are bad. P.S. I think Jesus didn't like the church at that time in that format, but was not apossed to the church in general.

This song is not about "satan". I think this is talking about about people finally seeing through religion. The third verse is talking about how Jesus was/is never about religion. By the way; TippMann, Metallica and Slayer f***ing rock.

lol, maybe destroying him with our witness is also effective but doesn't get a whole lot of publicity, or atleast i've never seen it on the news so its not a new thing, just an old idea in a new direction...

Tells of how Satan will try to confuse you but how we will endure till the end and he'll never get rid of us.

There's a movement brewing among some of the young, among some of the new christians who are begining to realize that both killpop and proto and nofamelost are right: jesus was never about religion. Unfortunately, most of the mainstream still thinks that he was. I see the song as this: stein wants to follow JESUS, not christianity, not the church, but JESUS. he gets crap for that from EVERYONE, from satan, from the media, from the "secular" (man i hate that word) world, and even from his mainstream church. Read the new testament: the people jesus had the most problems with (including being the people that killed jesus) were the heads of the religion. Jesus didnt like the church. Hm. go figure. Hands all around reach to slow him down... We aren’t playing by your rules We’ll never play the fool So, no, you cannot take what’s inside of me

Dude!!!! that is so beyond uncool to insult somone for their opinion!! im not even saying that i agree with him, but man, you can not insult somone and try to defend anything for God at the same time. your being really foolish. and besides, metallica is awesome. have you heard any of the other songs?? ...... ok not the place for that.. lol. anyway i apologize for DemonHunter in the name of Jesus Christ. in any case the main focus of this song is not about satan or evil its about "stein", the christian who is bearing all of these burdens like Christ would have. its supposed to be encouraging.love this song. love the band. farewell.
