This is an excellent tune by a most underrated popular band. I would rather have a band rip off Nirvana and Alice In Chains than say Britney Spears or the Scissor Sisters. I really like the line "Baby Jesus never sleeps when you're being a sinner...yeah he'll eat you for dinner." I guess you don't need to be high on drugs or booze to write depressing prose. A boatload of emotional turmoil and 3-a-day Zoloft habit is all you need.

first of all... Music guy, this isnt supposed to be just for "comments" we dont care how good a song is, have you read the name of this website?! but yea also the part about jesus isnt saying how hes "not that great" its more saying if you keep going down this path even the good will chew you up and spit you out. im not religious of anything but i dont think its really using him as a bad christian icon to get back at a church or something. duh

I think it also kicks ass, and their cd is full of these songs. On the other side, that's a minor. But I love it anyway. My favorites are 'She hates me', 'Said' and 'Bring me Down'. The acoustic version of control is bit of naggy, but it's kinda cool.
