| Amazing song! Even better live. Basically to me this song is about living in a manufactured world or society. As a human you are completely free but in this society if you do something out of the norm, you pay consequences as seen in..: "Stepped out of rhythm And now it's causing me to pay". He's found this out and he finds he can't escape it and it starts eating away at him > "Can't cut the strings Feels like i'm rotting at the core" The rest is just other effects it has caused and the way he now feels about his world and life. | |
