| The song is meant to be the darkest thing writeable. Thom Yorke said it was about "fighting with the devil and losing every time." He has trouble playing it at concerts, because it's so draining to look into the eyes of a cheering audience when singing of total despair. Whatever. I'm one of those cheering idiots. The song tries to be about death and dread and evil, but just starts coming through as a commentary on dead end life instead. I'm not sure if what Radiohead is trying to pull off is even possible with words, and I'm inclined to believe that if they can't do it no one can. It's still an incredible song, still my favorite Radiohead song. Maybe it's the enigma of such a great song talking about such an aweful thing that makes me just unable to feel the meaning of it. | |

| Amazing, truly beautiful. I can see why Thom was trouble singing this, this song scares me, especially listening it in the complete dark in a very depressed mood, it's so true and pure, amazing | |

| This song is so incredibly undescribeable that it just takes my breath away every time I hear it. Radiohead is so damn talented and yes i agree with AAALEX1, there is no other band that could get away with singing this song! And yes it is sad and depressing and the meaning of this song is very dark and scary. BUT ITS GOOOOD! and I would have never heard of this song if it wasnt for Davey telling me to listen to it. So thank u Davey I LOVE U! | |

| you guys.. do not cheer along with this... its about a dark hole without the liight on the end.. there are no escapes.. its about the devil always being there.. and you can never escape.. so next time you lsiten to this song.. try to feel what Thom feels.. he hates it when he sees his fans cheering along with it.. it only shows him that some people dont know what they listen to | |
