| Read Carl Jung _Flying Saucers - A Modern Myth of Things Seen in the Sky_ Compare the view of the lyrics with where he 'stands' using Jung's text. Compare findings with Dylans view in his track. good gold | |

| this was the first radiohead album i listened to, and i did it while spacing out and doing homework, and I knew PA, so when SHA came on, it was the first song I paid attention to, and the lyrics, and it caught my attention and stood out as my 'first radiohead song." it has a personal meaning for me, of that your friends still love you, but they don't always understand you, and its just so beautiful, so much of perfect, so much of what I wish i was completely, and what I am, some, and its so lovely. | |

| by kaisute on 06-12-2002 @ 04:45:37 AM To me it's about alienation and feeling that you're different from everybody around you "all these weird creatures who lock up their spirits" and about how you just know that there are more people like you out there but you can't seem to find them, you wish they'd just find you and take you in, and it's driving you crazy. That is so freakin true... and it's a really sucky feeling.. Anyway, this is probably my favorite Radiohead song, and it coming right after Paranoid Android in the album makes it so much better... 11 minutes of pure bliss. | |
