Ya, iI like the Christopher O'Riley cd too. This song is truely amazing. I agree that this is a relationship song (well obviously) and it really hits home with me, especially the last stansa. I love the bass line on this song too. It is so awesome. How much ass does Radiohead kick?

I think he's trying to find an excuse about why his life is so dysfunctional but doesn't want to blame it on the "Black star" which happens to be the relationship.

I've always interpreted it as the girl in the song having a mental disorder that the guy cant understand, and eventually couldnt deal with it anymore...."now that i dont think of you" Ever see the movie Mad Love? think of it in that vein...

This is my favorite Radiohead song because of its simplicity in style, background sounds and lyrics. The whole transition through the song really gets to me with the last lines before the chorus. "What am I coming to? I'm gonna meltdown." Just mindblowing.

It's about a guy whose girlfriend or partner or whatever has mental problems, and is at a complete loss as to what to do about it.

this song seemed simple enough for me to understand and easily appreciate until i heard Thom say that it was about "Sex in the morning. Which is the best time to have it. As long as you've cleaned your teeth beforehand." Just like Thom, to confuse me as fuck. anyways, great, lovely, absolutely heart-breakingly beautiful song.

This is definatly my favorite radiohead song. It reminds me of my relationship with a good friend of mine. listen to the Black Star by Christopher O-Riley, he does a good job with it.
