| k this songs pretty good, but obviously nowhere near there best... its about a relationship which has recently ended, and thom is fed up with it and depressed. he basically doesnt care and the line: "take a lesson from me, dont get stuck on a dream." means simply he really believed that he and his partner were meant for each other but that is obviously not the case | |

| It's about materialism for me. Don't get stuck on a dream means don't dream of prosperity, because it never happens. It all goes away in the end. | |

| I think this song could be about many things. But I tend to agree with near fantastica. This song works better as that of the breakup of an intimate relationship. He is also saying she can sell off all their stuff and he doesn't want any of it. It would just bring him bad memories if he were to keep the stuff they both shared. If this song were not about the breakup of a marriage or something like that, some of the lines would not really make sense. But it's a beautiful song and in general it can apply to any situation where a person decides not to hold on to something that is negative... even if it means losing out on material things. | |

| i love this song. so many people on forums bitch about it and how boring it is. i love it. especially the bit where thom sings: 'don't get stuck on a dream. i still have no idea what it means. maybe Thom is doing that thing where he pretends he's someone else like electroneering or we suck young blood..... who knows! i love this song | |

| I love this song. Radiohead is so mellowing. The only place I've heard it played is woxy.com, which I highly reccomend. | |
