Radish is a grunge band often compared to the band Nirvana. The band grew in popularity in the Dallas, Texas music scene from their formation in 1993. However, the band was dismissed by critics as little more than an imitation of Nirvana with the novelty of an extremely young lead vocal-guitarist, Ben Kweller who later established a successful solo career though he was only 16 years old at that time. Kweller started his song writing career with this band having written all 12 tracks on their only album release.
