Intro:
For the intro you need to have your whammy pedal set at the Up 1 octave setting
Then you karate chop the strings near the bridge while muting with your fretting 
hand. Tom depresses the pedal slowly and releases the muting frethand for the

Guitar solo
For this solo Tom is just toggle switching while running a slide up above
the pickups. He starts by sliding up from about the 15th fret. Its really
hard to explain this, he basically is just sliding up to about 3" from his
Bridge. Then Toggling on that one note. Listen to the CD and try to get
the main idea. Just get the main rythym down. Its improved live anyways.
