i absolutely love this song, especially when the did it and the grand olympic auditorium at their last show

this song was originally done by 60s psychedelic rockers MC5, and has since been covered by artists such as silverchair, presidents of the USA and the late great jeff buckley. and they all did better versions than rage. particuarly the presidents, they added their own nonsensical fun lyrics to the verses.

ha that's an interrestin view, dugahole. But to me,considering that this was not writen by Rage, that the phrase"Kick out the Jams" just ment rockout. I'd never looked up the lyrics until now. So I thought he said "Keep on rockin till the morin come" but he really says "If u want to feed my rocket" and now I'm real confused!

I would also like to point out that Monster Magnet did a version of this song also. Though I do agree with you that the president's version was the best. Though it really doesn't resemble the original much.
