| I think the lines Come down with fire and Come and make me holy again lean more towards the devil, plus it would add to Dio's image of the Devil incarnate | |

| Really? It seems like it's about god to me. I'm the day, I'm the day I can show you the way And look, I'm right beside you I'm the night, I'm the night I'm the dark and the light With eyes that see inside you Come down with fire Lift my spirit higher Someone's screaming my name Come and make me holy again Like god is trying to reach out to someone who's gone astray or needs help? But then again it could be about Lucifer "Come and make me holy again" lol now I'm confused but I always thought it was more about god. | |

| I dont want to sound like the simple one of the argument... but does lucifer or god really qualify as a man? | |

| PS. The lyrics were written to create weird mental imagery and to seem meaningful and are otherwise meaningless. IMHO | |

| i think that line could really go either way, God's wrath comming down with fire, or maybe satan and the fires of hell maybe? but usually things come "down" from heaven and "up" from hell. but im not sure that god needs someone to make him holy again, like the song says either. maybe it isnt about god or the devil? | |
