| From what I gather Tim made Rancid with the intention of becoming popular. Whereas OpIvy and it's members wanted to stay as an underground band. That is why "Too much attention unavoidably destroyed us". He says it was UNAVIODABLE. Maybe Tim has some regrets about quitting? Maybe he wrote this song to try and justify splitting up. | |
