Verse 2 Lyrics:
Do not bill the abandoned buildings,
it's nice to sleep when you've got a ceiling.
Neighborhood watch said we gotta put a stop,
can't have people livin' for free call the cops.
Here comes the SWAT team, and the M-16,
shoot the walls in, destroy the building.
Wolverine was sad and it made him mad,
every single cop got a bullet in the head.

| there is a conflict within every human heart; between the rational, the irrational...between good and evil. and sometimes good does not always triumph. sometimes the dark side overcomes what lincoln calls 'the better angels of our nature'. a social commentary about the benefactors who would righteously provide solace for the needy, even when it means that the just contravene social law. "Every single cop got a bullet in the head " | |

| when tim was younger he read a lot of commick books and his favourite character was wolverine from the x-men. he did actually have a dream that he was with wolverine (i mean if you think about it a superhero is a vigilante) he mixes it with his political views that he likes to everyone to hear (dont get me wrong i love his political songs) | |

| Can't really say I like the line "every single cop got a bullet in the head" They're just doing their job, not like they were doing it for a bad reason. (I know this song is fictional, bear with me). I mean really, bums living in abandoned buildings generally involves things like illegal drugs and all sorts of other illicit things. Still a fun song. | |

| i think this song is about when tim lived illegally in an abandoned building, just squatting. this was before rancid was filmed. then the police kicked him and all the other punks out, but all they wanted was a roof over their heads. i think this song's about how he'd like to be a super hero and kick in all the cops, save the day and give the punks their building back. | |
