Lyrics:
Pre-Verse
Come into the Union District,
Drive down on Sharmon palms.
White ghettos paint a picture,
Broken homes and broken bones.
Verse 1
I was so fulla scotch I could not stand up,
I was hitting the shots and I moved to a cup.
Release me from moral assumption,
Total rejection total destruction.
Chorus
Nihilistic feelings are moving,
If I try really hard I see right through them.
Nihilism!
Nihilism!
Nihilism!
Pre-Verse
Come into the Union District,
Drive down on Sharmon palms.
White ghettos paint a picture,
Broken homes and broken bones.
Verse 2
Walking a path of self destruction,
Not affected by repercussions.
Lady at the billboard offered me a drink,
I said, not right now I need time to think!
Chorus
Nihilistic feelings are moving,
If I try really hard I see right through them.
Nihilism!
Nihilism!
Nihilism!
Bridge
Nihilismmm!
Verse 3
I was so fulla scotch I could not stand up,
I was hitting the shots and I moved to a cup.
Release me from moral assumption,
Total rejection total destruction.
White ghettos paint a picture,
Broken homes and broken bones.
That's it. ENJOY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

| Anarchy is the lack of government, rules, authority, etc. it does not be chaos. chaos just often results from lack of rules. Ideal anarchy is cool because people would live together in peace without any rules or forms of authority, people wouldn't be dicks and fuck things about. nihilism is the philosophy that there is no purpose to life. In this song, nihilism is compared to the drinking habit because there is no purpose to it | |

| River Wolf is totally right. I think, though, that the narrator had come, in thinking, to the belief of nihilism. Questioning whether life had any meaning would, of course, be very depressing. This led the narrator to start heavy alcohol drinking. Then the line "If I try real hard I'll see right through them" shows that the person'd gotten past his/her feelings of nihilism and resumed normal life. | |

| Political anarchy isn't about chaos, it's about self-government at a very local level, ie communes etc. Nihilism is about moving forward by destroying everything that exists now, good or bad, no matter the cost, by any means necessary. I think quite a few people in the Bush admin are nihilists, for example. It can also apply to destruction of the self though. | |
