| It's actually: "Melbourne is a tropical London I met a girl in a tropical London Abandoned in a tropical London" Melbourne has a lot in common with London, and it' (sub)tropical - thus "tropical London". He met Brody there, and it's also where she abandoned him. | |

| i dont think brody is a good idol to have. and i think indestructible is alright but i really wish tim armstrong had gotten really angry about it rather than felt so sorry for himself, then he would have written some much better songs. | |

| I think this song is definatly about Brody. "if you lose me you lose a good thing" - about there divorce. "Melbourne is a tropical London American in a tropical London" - Brody being from melbourne and she moved to america when she met tim, and later marrying him. "Medication led to an altercation" - the medication bit could mean either the antidepressants brody was prescribed when they were in marrage counsilling or it could also refere to drugs........causeing an altercation which is a heated argument | |

| Diegop, Brody is the singer from The Distillers. I think she's written a song or two about him, too, and she's definitely mentioned him before. Anyway thanks for the clarification, mogsety! | |
