this is either about 2 people who used to be in a relationship together saying how they made them feel or it could even be about a x family member or x best friend. where things have gone wrong and it has changed them for the worst and they both hurt and both feel guilty but they no they will never like eachother again.

I love this song, it rocks!! This song is probably about two people who were together or something. He was cold and sometimes mean to her. He then left her alone. Doing this, made her change. “I never thought that the time and the distance Between us made you so much colder” He now feels guilty for what he did and empty because he isn’t receiving love from her for what he did to her. “Guilty, guilty I feel so Empty, empty you know how to make me feel”

It's nice he's been talking about his friends, it's pretty much the way I feel it too. I was obsessed with this song at a time, I could still strongly connect it with my best friend cause that's the way I feel about her too sometimes... or at least the way I used to feel. Great song in any case.
