	I feel what you're saying Desaparecida... that same thing happens to me and my ex. Been together for 3 years in total but we broke up about 12 times or more in between them all! Lol... yeah it was all kinds of crazy... but in all reality it was worth all the pain and trouble 'cause you learn so much form it all. You grow up! But I love the song! It's gorgeously sung and so meaningful to me.

	The Funeral Song is an apology to Lauri's exgirlfriend, Siiri Nordin. The strings it has tear it apart from the other songs The Rasmus have made. It also has two versions, the other version, which is in the single, is called: 'The Resurrection', and it is even better for it has drums... 	simsfreq, you're right! wooho go you! lol I love this song SO much, because I can totally and scarily relate to it 100%!! I had the same situation, which makes the song mean that much more to me! it was strange though because I actually wrote a song about MY experience and then a week later i bought Dead Letters and was like "woah" that's scary how it's about the exact same thing... anyways, yes it's about some random girlfriend he kept treating like shit and didn't know why.

	I don't think this song was about Siiri. I'm pretty sure Lauri denied ever having a relationship with her. I could be wrong though, I haven't been Rasmus-obsessed in a while, but I really think it was some other random girlfriend.

	Good song, but a little sloppy lyrics.. Listen to it yourself, first all these amazingly beautiful stringed instruments as an intro, and then it falls BAM with his "I dumped you again". Couldn't he have written a little more... proper lyrics for music like this?

	the chorus is great.. got stuck in my head... its about his subconscious tellin him that the relationship he's in is killing him.. the passion and lust are the flames and it burns him up when he keeps going back to her.. kinda obvious but i love it

	like to mention that i love lauri.... feathers and all... this song really reminds me of an ex boyfriend i've got... we dated for altogether roughly 15 months, over a span of just under two years... we broke up three times, the third only a few days ago... the verses are how i feel...or used to... when we would get back together only to break up again...

	kevlar_soul - I have to agree with your last comment. I did find it a little...blunt. But we have to keep in mind that they are foreign and possibly not as familiar with the English language. (But considering some of the other stuff they've produced, they don't seem to have an excuse. lol) Perhaps it is done deliberately for a more striking effect. Still, I think the lyrics for the chorus are beautiful and the whole song definitely lives up to the Rasmus' usual amazing quality.

	Lauri actually said in an interview once this song is about a relationship he had with this girl where he kept breaking up with her and he didn't know why, he just kept hurting her and felt really shitty about it. And he kept having dreams where he died, or something... This song is amazing live

	This song has alot of emotion, yes the lyrics are a little sloppy/confusing but that just seems to make it better, because normaly when you in a situation (one like this song discribes) u are at a loss of words or in utter confusion on how to explain what u want to say,

	the rasmus is a great band - i had to get that out of the way - i agree that the music is a bit harsh but i think it is a kool effect, it reminds me of a certain CRAIDLE OF FILTH song ( i cant remember the name) but it starts off with a slow melodic guitar intro and then it gets really harsh,, any wayse this is a great song.
