Well, this is a christian band. They wrote it straight out as Jesus fixes the pieces that is our lives. and no wife/husband can do that, only christ. But this is one of my all time favorites. absolutly beautiful

This song is definately about God, and one of my favourite songs. I wish more of Red's songs were like this one!

I think this song is just basically saying that god makes everyone whole. Without him we would be in pieces. Just go to him to become whole.

While it is assumed that this song is about God, you could also make the argument that this is about a man's soon-to-be wife. The lines "When I see your face, I know I'm finally yours" can also mean marriage very easily. Regardless, this song is insanely beautiful, both in music and lyrics.

This is by far the most beautiful and meaningful song that I have heard. To me its about trying to change your life and/or breaking an addiction without God's help, being beaten down by satan and then finnally realizing that God loves you regardless of your state and feeling at peace when you are safely in his arms.

This is perhaps the most beautiful song I have ever heard. It makes me cry almost every time I listen to it. I know that Red is a Christian band and all, but I prefer to not think about this as a Christian song. I completely see how it is refering to God, but I think it becomes an even more powerful song if it is viewed non-religiously, but that is just my opinion. I would argue that it could be interpreted as being about someone who is completely lost after being separated from their love, perhaps they broke up and the person tried to move on but couldn't, to the point in which they do not think they can go on without them. They have forgotten who they are in the process. When they are reunited or get back together after being apart, the person finds everything that they thought they lost. The person ends up coming back to their love as pieces of who they used to be, but they know that their love can make them whole again. Of course, that isn't what they originally wrote it as, but I like to think so. As an atheist, I would also argue that you don't need God to be whole, but you do need love and hope in your life.

Having just finished HP and the Deathly Hallows: This song is absolutely about Severus Snape! O.K.: it might not have been written for that reason- but it still fits.
