	I heard that the song was inspired by a 'road trip' anthony, flea and john took. Note: i didnt mention chad being present on the trip and also note how there is no obvious presence of drum playing on the track either

	Yeah its another one with loads of drugs reference. Especially the overall theme of not caring, just doing something with your best friends. Great to chill to

	I agree with Kaisute. I think that a lot of the time people think RHCP are being sweet and innocent when they're actually not, and vice versa. This is such a mellow song, people think it must be totally clean. But Pea, although it's full of swearing, actually is innocent -- just in an uninhibited sort of way. Does that make sense?

	i think this song is about one of anthony's many road trips to get clean. in his book he talked about a few of them and each time hed take a little bit of coke and a little bit of heroin to "wean" himself off, ie "...with my two favorite allies." (coke and heroin, his two drugs of choice) also "these smiling eyes are just a mirror for the sun" ie hes so strung out that his eyes (and whats behind them) serve no purpose except as a surface for the sun to reflect into.
