| haha I think it's about a planet? you know he's looking at it through a telescope and there's like space debris in the way and he wants to get rid of it (pushing a broom out into space) oh god I have no idea. it's a sweet song though. | |

| So far, I believe this is my favorite song on Stadium Arcadium. The lyrics and melody are both beautiful, and I could listen to it forever. | |

| I agree that this song is about the spiritual connection between a band and the audience. A very powerful song indeed. | |

| first off this song is fucking amazing, you can listen to it over and over again and interpret it differently each time and still love it but i think there something we're all missing in the song's meaning:: the title stadium arcadium means a lot on its own, STADIUM i think refers to a stage whether it be a concert stage or just like an elevated imaginary stage above the everday world where things can be seen from a greater perspective and with brighter light and then, ARACADIUM definately refers to the word "arcadia" a word that means an idyllic place offering rural simplicity and contentment, this connects with what adam07 said up there that the RHCP singer Keitas said he "pictures 4 guys camping out in the wilderness playing music and connecting to the universe." so all in all, i think is a really reflective song talking about their experiences as a band and giving their all for their fans and living seemingly crazy lives while still seeing things in simple selfless terms -fucking beautiful (lemme know what you think) | |

| its about the connection between the band and the audience when a band plays. that 'almost religious' feeling you get in the atmosphere | |
