| This song is clearly about the rock life and jam packed of drug references, ie (sry if this is long but after looking at it i was 100% convinced so i figured id share) A little package and off we go a... Happy ending that's made of sand Lilacs and contraband I've got Santa Monica in my hand Make a deal with Uncle Weezer Sweetness come from Jane These were the most obvious ones but obviously there are many more references to bags packages etc etc | |

| I agree with you all and would like to add one thing for consideration. Warlocks was the original name of the Grateful Dead. | |

| i think its about drugs. he keep talking about "ive got two big bags" and "a little package and we're on our way" and "a little packet of something kind" and says somethin about contraband. also "sweetness come from Jane". just a guess | |

| i think this song is definetely about drugs. AK is referring to how at a point in time drugs were his life and how the job of being a musician was put on a back burner and all he cared about was the glamerous lifestyle he had. | |

| i am with (some of) you guys. its quintesential chili peppers history, a theme. rock and roll is there, "main event at the old rainbow" the drugs....oh the drugs.."packet of something kind"..."bags of old japan" celebrity, fame, and the holywood scene..."warlocks in wonderland"... | |
