| I heard this song and, until I looked at the lyrics, I swear it said “I’d like to think that we did it for the better of (our time) I know it doesn’t This is about how he is from a different place, or has a different background than his lover, or here the take-out bride Dang people type your stuff in and then run it through Word, and do a spell check! | I think the girl that he's talking about is only tempary, but she doesn't realize it... he likes girl but not for something serious. He doesn't open up to girls because he doesn't want a broken heart again. he's not sure why he's with this girl b/c she'snot gonna be in his life or remembered, but he will be remembered. he's more important than her. She doesn't form in the wet sand because she's nothing to him. | |

| A lovely song with a deep feeling inside. What this song is about is Anthony's personal change of last year, and his girlfriend being the reason of this change. In his own words, " i've hurt a lot of people and now all that pain is coming back to me". Recently, AK was left by his former girlfriend. That made him think about himself, he regrets about his past enourmous ego and not caring about anyone. He has been beeing Sir Psycho Sexy for so many years. Now he has come back with her girlfriend and hes GOING TO MARRY!!!!!!!!!! The first verse of the song talks about how crazy his life was (My love affair with everywhere) and his need to change (stop the car, time to go). Then later he talk about this girl and how wonderful she is in a totally in love way (those hummingbirds all in your hair, the disrepair of norma jean...). The my, what a good day part is like my, what a good day to change and start it over again. The right on the verge, just one more dose ... verse is abouthis life in late eighties and 90s and how empty it was now that he have realized wut he really wants. And i dont have any idea what the wet sand means, but it's and awesome ending to this song....... Well, that's my opinion. sorry if my english is not good, or strange, or whatever... I'm spanish!!!
